Because True Love is EXCLUSIVE!

Once upon a time there was a King and a Queen who lived in a not-so perfect Kingdom far, far away. They had a simple castle with enough profits to share with their people. Their relationship, however, had been the talk of the town and it inspired a lot of their countrymen, because it was imperfect, yet timeless. They expressed their love for each other in so many ways, wrote poems to each other, cooked together, fought three to six times a week; they prayed together, they dreamed of all the places that they want to visit together and they were crazy about each other.

One day, the Queen was called to perform duties to their people in the upper country, so she left the King and their castle, to tend to her obligation, because of the advanced information technology their love grew stronger, no matter how busy they were. They still ate together through the webcam, prayed together on their scheduled prayer time; the Queen danced for her King, he sang to her their favorite songs, and slept together via Skype. Despite of their very busy schedules, regardless of how many times they fought because of stress – they found time to express their love for each other.

Months later, the Queen went back to the castle and the King was overjoyed. They threw a small feast to celebrate their love with their friends and family to witness their undying affection for each other. However, with the Queen’s new responsibilities and the King’s present undertakings and their social obligations, they began to grow apart. They stopped praying together, their daily and weekly meetings have taken a toll on their connection and they were constantly fighting more than their usual six times a week.

They tried to work out their relationship, but so many things – Anger, jealousy, frustration, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, and ego–have already come in between them. Until one day, the King -troubled and confused -left the Kingdom in search of a new dwelling where he would feel good again. The queen was crushed, devastated, and broken for she has lost the greatest love of her life. She felt the most unimaginable kind of pain, because her husband did not even give their love a chance to work it out.

Every night she prayed, “I’ve come to trust not that events will always unfold exactly as I want, but that I will be fine either way. The challenges we face in life are always lessons that serve our soul’s growth. At my lowest, God is my hope. At my darkest, God is my light. At my weakest, God is my strength. At my saddest, God is my comforter.”

She continued serving their Kingdom and kept a steadfast heart. After a while, the King returned to his Queen. She welcomed him with a blazing love of open arms and forgot about their sorrows. The King proclaimed, “This is the woman I love, the one who will fight all of life’s battles with me. She is the force when I become weak, as I am to her. She is my mate, my match, the home where my heart is restored, to whom I will always belong.”They started praying together again, rekindling their lost souls with God in the midst of them. Little by little they found the love that was lost from the tragedies they went through. The Queen later gave birth to a very beautiful and healthy princess, and the entire Kingdom rejoiced and was blessed with bountiful crops that would nourish them all the days of their life.
