Live, Love, and Let Go
“Anything less than mad, passionate, extraordinary love is a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with and love should not be one of them“. –Tiffanie DeBartolo
Everyone is entitled to a love that is passionate both ways, life-changing crazy, and mind blowing that could last a lifetime, but what if your present relationship suddenly fails? Sometimes no matter how sincerely we share ourselves to keep the connection, it’s still not enough to keep the feeling for so long.
From my experience, I could say that when it comes to love, sometimes it takes more than a couple of times to be absolutely in sync with someone, or at times we need to meet almost a hundred people before you and your match find each other. That is certainly okay, as irrational as it may sound to anyone who has never been through your journey. Accept it, love is an unexplainable madness and life is changing relentlessly. It’s fair enough for people to arrive and depart from our lives as they please, and we should expect that this will constantly occur. If someone’s meant to be in our life, they will find a way to be there and stay.
Same thing with love that mysteriously makes most of us ridiculously senseless at times. It drives you to do silly things you have never done, break you more than yo have ever been, blissful than you could ever dream, and gives you that profound feeling about your destiny. The more you learn, the more you aspire to keep going. You might not understand why there are those couples that always break up, and then one week later they’re back in each other’s arms. You can never fully understand something unless you find yourself in the same position. If your partner is someone whom you really can’t imagine living without, then give it the amount of chances it needs until it’s faultless in your opinion – not by others.
However, regardless of the reason why relationships fall flat, moving on from a person you once loved is a very tough course and it’s something that takes time, prayers, induced effort, and patience. A lot of people go through this phase and successfully comes out to be better and smarter. You have to understand that love does not fade so easily after a failed relationship, but changing your mindset and understanding that there are a lot of opportunities for change as you grieve, helps a lot in the process of letting go. Becoming a renewed individual with a deeper and different perspective on relationships would certainly be an advantage the next time you get into one.
Finally, accept that sometimes your broken heart will have scars that does not need mending, and in due time you’ll personally believe that letting go is sometimes an act of love too.
